This really is a blockbuster of a vista. The majestic Mont Blanc Massif towering above, framed by the wooded ridge to the left and reflected in the calm waters of the Lac De Joux Plan. The Lac de Joux plan is found near the top of the Col du Joux plan which links the towns of Samoens and Morzine when the road is open in Summer. Tour De France fans with be familiar with this section and if you ski in Les Gets, you’ve probably gazed at a similar view and down at the lac from the viewing platform at the Summit of the Ranfolly lift.
