This rugged looking shot shows a stream of skiers and boarders descending from the Fornet chairlift in Avoriaz with the Point de Fornet watching over them. The image is taken from the Pointe de Vorlaz side of the bowl. The contrasting line between rolling snowfields and jagged cliffs follows the border between France on the right and Switzerland on the left. Just out of shot on the left is the drop in to the infamous ‘Swiss Wall’.
